Ethiopia's first national FC league. Twenty top-flight English clubs. One slot per club. Earn your seat through open qualifiers — then play a full 38-gameweek season for the title and a brand-new 100% electric car.
Three phases. Open to anyone in Ethiopia — you don't need to own either game, a console or a controller. Win your bracket, claim your club, then play a full 38-gameweek season.
Sign up for any club you want to represent. Each club runs its own knockout bracket — best of three, single elimination — until one player wins the slot. Played on EA SPORTS FC 26.
On Draft Day all 20 winners are announced on a single live broadcast. Each is paired with their club for the season — player profile film and pairing announcement.
All 20 players play each other home and away — exactly 38 fixtures each. League table, top scorer race, GW awards, and a live-audience final at the host venue, streamed in full. Played on EA SPORTS FC 27. ELECTROCUP gameweeks follow our own calendar — they are not tied to Premier League fixtures or results.
Ethiopia residents · 16+ · No game, console or controller needed. Before the bracket draw, you confirm your entry with your ID number — we store only an irreversible code derived from it, never the number itself. Photo ID is checked in person at the Qualifier Center and no copy or image is kept. Entrants aged 16–17 need written consent from a parent or legal guardian. Winners under 18 receive the grand prize through a parent or legal guardian.
Match length, defending, tactics and squad restrictions are all published before qualifiers begin. Announced soon.
Qualifiers are played on EA SPORTS FC 26. The 38-gameweek season is played on EA SPORTS FC 27. All matches run on tournament-supplied PS5 hardware — you never need to buy either title.
All knockouts streamed. Final 3 rounds played on-site. Replay review on protest.
Registration is free of charge. A qualifier session fee is payable in advance of your scheduled session, and covers venue hire, tournament hardware, officials and production. The amount and accepted payment methods will be published before qualifiers begin. Entering a second bracket in Group B requires a second session fee. Subsidised and complimentary places are assessed individually. No fee is payable for season play.
Qualifiers are played on FC 26, where these three clubs are not selectable, so each uses a stand-in — the club it replaced. You win the club slot itself, and represent your real club from Gameweek 1 on FC 27.
Groups are set by where each club finished last season. Group A is the top ten; Group B is everyone else, including the three clubs promoted this summer. All twenty are open now.
Group A closes first, when its bracket draw is announced — no date is given in advance. Group B stays open after that, and anyone knocked out in a Group A bracket can enter a Group B bracket for another session fee. Fewer entrants there, but many of them have already won matches.
Each club bracket is a single-elimination knockout, BO3 throughout. The top-ten brackets close the moment their draw is announced, then draw at random live on broadcast. The other ten stay open until their own draw is called. No closing date is published in advance — enter early.
Once qualifier registration closes, all twenty brackets are drawn at random on a single live broadcast. From draw to final, every match is streamed.
The grand prize for ELECTROCUP 26 is a brand-new 100% electric car, delivered at the Cup Final by Kairos Addis Auto. Insurance, registration and the keys go to one player. The make and model are announced before qualifiers begin.
